🌼 Meet Buttercup! 🌼

Buttercup may be little, but her heart is enormous. ❤️ This sweet, gentle girl absolutely adores affection and is happiest curled up next to her favorite person, soaking up every bit of love she can get. She's completely devoted to her humans and would happily spend every moment by your side as your loyal little shadow.

Buttercup is a 2-year-old, 30-pound English Bulldog who is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly.

Buttercup was pulled from the shelter with just hours to spare. She is currently receiving treatment for heartworm disease, has surgery scheduled to correct her cherry eye, and is undergoing testing for mild urinary incontinence. While she has a few medical hurdles to overcome, we're optimistic she'll make a full recovery. We're still figuring-out the cause of her mild urinary incontinence, so it is possible this may be a persistent condition.

It's clear Buttercup didn't have an easy start in life, and she has a gentle, submissive personality because of it. Even so, she greets every day with love, resilience, and an eagerness to be close to her people.
