Meet Gilly!

Gilly is a young girl who is playful, energetic, and just a little bit ridiculous in the best possible way. She loves to play and can sometimes play a little too enthusiastically, so she’ll need a family who is willing to help her learn that not every play session needs to be conducted at full speed. Older kids should be a good fit, but her rougher play style may be too much for very small children.

And when Gilly isn't busy playing? She's apparently decided that her other full-time job is being a lap dog. At roughly 25 pounds, she is perfectly sized for the position, and she has no trouble transitioning from energetic little goofball to professional snuggler.

There is also one important thing to know about Gilly: she LOVES bathtime. We don't know exactly what she thinks is so exciting about getting cleaned up, but apparently someone forgot to tell her that most dogs consider baths a personal betrayal. Gilly, on the other hand, is here for it.

Gilly is looking for a family who wants an energetic young dog who can keep up with playtime and then happily settle in for some serious cuddling. Her ideal home will also be willing to continue working with her on her play style and help her learn how to channel all that youthful enthusiasm appropriately.

Like many bulldogs and bully breeds, Gilly will require regular veterinary maintenance for allergies throughout her life. This is something her future family should be prepared to manage as part of caring for her.
