✨ Meet Luna! ✨

Some dogs have a way of stealing your heart the moment you meet them. Luna is one of those dogs.

This little magical mystery pup was found wandering in western Louisiana with one eye severely injured, painful skin infections, and somehow... the sweetest, happiest spirit you could imagine. The woman who found Luna calls her "the most special girl ever," and after spending time with Luna, it's easy to see why.

Today, Luna is leaving her past behind and embracing her second chance. She's joyful, playful, endlessly affectionate, and happiest when she's by your side. She's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and likely cat-friendly, too! She loves treats, is learning her manners, and is still working on potty training—but she's eager to learn and even more eager to love. Overall, she's gentle, affectionate, and quietly joyful.

She has since had her damaged eye removed (photos taken with her injured eye have been slightly censored due to graphic content) and her skin is healing nicely.

Now for the mystery... 🤔

One veterinarian estimated Luna to be around 3 years old, but Luna seems absolutely convinced she's still a puppy. We suspect the truth is somewhere in between!

And her breed? Your guess is as good as ours. At just 20 pounds, with those giant adorable ears and unmistakable bulldog charm, we're thinking she may be some kind of French Bulldog mix. But honestly, who knows.

What we know for sure is that Luna is 100% sweetie pie with a puppy spirit!

Luna has already survived so much. Now she's ready for the best part: finding the family she's been waiting for.
