Meet Poppi, a little lady who has decided that her difficult past is officially behind her and that her future should involve one very important thing: being somebody’s beloved baby. ❤️

Poppi is a 3-year-old, 35-pound Bully girl who came into the local shelter in labor and in need of emergency surgery. She was severely underweight, very overbred, and had clearly lived a hard life. But that chapter is over. Poppi is now spayed, safe, and ready to enjoy the carefree life she deserves. 🐾✨

And Poppi has apparently decided that her new life should involve as much snuggling as physically possible.

From the moment she arrived at the shelter, she began winning people over with her sweet, gentle nature. And that's only continued since entering rescue! She’s a lower-key girl with a sunny disposition who loves people and affection. Her number one priority is getting pets, followed closely by finding a lap to climb into. At 35 pounds, Poppi is apparently operating under the very reasonable assumption that every lap is her lap. 😂❤️

Poppi isn’t looking for a complicated life. She’s looking for a family who wants a sweet, affectionate, lower-key companion to hang out with. Someone who will appreciate having a little shadow nearby and give her all the love and attention she has been waiting for. She gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and she is already house-trained and crate-trained. Basically, Poppi has the qualifications for her new career as a professional family member.
