NOBR June Adoption Event

Join New Orleans Bulldog Rescue at Urban South Brewery (1645 Tchoupitoulas) for our monthly adoption event!

This is the best time to meet adoptable dogs, talk about volunteer and foster home opportunities, and discuss adoptions. Even if you are not looking to add a dog to your family, we appreciate everyone who comes out to help our dogs practice manners and build confidence.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS and kids under 14 at home. This is to reduce excitement/stress for our adoptable dogs, and also keep attendees as safe as possible. We would love to set up an introduction to your whole family following the event.

What happens next? After each event, we gather the names of people who both attended the event and have submitted an application. We start with our longest tenured dogs (usually mixed-breed, "pit bull" type, and special needs), and schedule follow up meetings if possible. We ask potential adopters to take the dog for a daytime visit, sometimes multiple if they have other pets, but ideally folks commit to adopt (or move on) as soon as possible.

Unfortunately we can not always respond to each individual question via phone/email, but we can absolutely do this is in person. Thank you for your understanding.
